Event Center Downtown, located in downtown Opelika, less than 10 miles from Auburn University's campus, is a venue versatile enough to handle spectacular weddings and receptions to conferences and other special events. Accommodating 6 to 1,500 people, the Event Center Downtown is housed in the former Coca Cola buildings and retains much of their original charm and character with added modern amenities. The second floor is the latest renovation to the property offering a lounge type atmosphere with a rooftop terrace, additional meeting space, bridal quarters and a green room. Event Center Downtown hosts private events plus a variety of entertainment events open to the public such as concerts, comedy shows, and a singer songwriter series.
