Founded in 1919, Autauga Farming Company is a family farm that maintains operations in central Alabama. It features a range of crops that includes hay, cotton, corn, wheat, barley, oats and soybeans. The company manages farm units that are located in Autauga and Montgomery counties in Alabama. Its brood herd consists of more than 900 crossbred females. Autauga Farming Company administers a breeding program that includes a breed rotation process and utilizes Angus, Charolais and Simmental bulls. It is a member of the Alabama Beef Cattle Improvement Association. The company is recognized as the National Cotton Farm of the Year by the Cotton Farming magazine.
