The Alabama Farmers Federation helps farmers to produce various products. It helps to produces honey, cotton, beef, dairy, peanuts, pork, soybeans and wheat. Its young farmer program provides basic discussion on agricultural issues to solve agricultural-related problems. Alabama Farmers Federation's soybean division is composed of farmers throughout the state who produce soybeans. Its soybean division represents farmers on national, state and local levels. The federation s horticulture division is composed of growers who produce fruit, nut and vegetable crops, such as pecans, peaches, strawberries, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, watermelons, blueberries and sweet corn. It also promotes wildlife resources as an alternative source of revenue for farmers and works to provide more law enforcement from the conservation department to reduce poaching, trespassing and night hunting. It is located in Montgomery, Ala.
