Welcome to Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre. Situated in the heart of the picturesque and historic hamlet of Glen Williams, on the banks of the Credit river, Williams Mill comprises stone and clapboard heritage buildings dating from 1835. The buildings house studios for artists and artisans, Glen Williams Glass glassblowing workshop, a Gallery, shop and education centre. Watch professional artists blowing glass, making jewelry from silver clay, painting in watercolour or carving stone. Chat with specialty artisans about their traditional wooden canoe building or chair caning, or commission a photographer or graphic designer. Browse beautiful Ontario Art and Craft in the Gallery and adjacent fashion boutique, and take home a beautiful item to remind you of your visit. Then stroll through the village to the antiquarian bookstore or antiques market and enjoy lunch, tea or an ice cream at the lovely Glen Oven Cafe. End your day with a wander along the Bruce Trail, or skimming stones in the river. Enjoy this beautiful rural spot; less than an hour from the city, and yet a world away.
