Kiwanis Club of Ottawa has a longstanding relationship with the Cadet movement, spanning over 65 years. This year, the club aims to provide a unique opportunity for young cadets to participate in an international exchange program with a cadet unit in Barbados.
The 2784 Governor General’s Foot Guards (Ggfg) Army Cadet Corps, comprising boys and girls aged 12 – 18, are actively involved in volunteering for various charity and community events throughout the year. To support sending deserving cadets on this exchange, the club is fundraising $25,000 to cover their expenses, welcoming donations from individuals and corporations.
