Jordash began in 1979 from a small single room office on O’Conner Street. Pierre Racicot and Albin Jordan met on the job site of a restaurant being built on Carling Avenue called “My Second Home”. They then decided that they could provide Ottawa’s established and budding restauranteurs a much better option if they combined their skillsets. Albin brought his detailed construction experience.Pierre brought his extensive foodservice equipment knowledge. Their concept was a hit. Over the years, Jordash has enabled many entrepreneurs to realize their dreams of owning and operating a restaurant, corner store, food truck, kiosk, and many other types of foodservice establishments.
